Pellini

Emma Caimi Pellini´s Atelier was born in Milan in 1947.

After studying at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, in 1950 Emma Pellini participated in the Milan Triennale, winning the 2nd and 3rd prize at the exhibition “Imitation of the jewel”. In 1951 she was invited to exhibit her creations in New York at Saks Fifth Avenue.

In 1964 her daughter Carla continued her business at Palazzo Belgiojoso, in via Morigi, Milan, where the showroom and press office still stand today.

In the family atelier, Donatella learns the art of bijoux and reinterprets it with a contemporary vision. In the 1980s she began exhibiting the bijoux collections in plexiglass, pvc and rhodoid at Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, at Neiman Marcus in Dallas and Los Angeles.

In the 90s she collaborated with Italian and French designers.

Donatella makes herself known for experimenting with resin which is still the hallmark of the Pellini company today, a modern technique but with an artisan tradition.

In 2000 the collection of semiprecious stones signed Donatellapellini was born.

Pellini bijoux can be found in Milan in the shops of via Morigi and Corso Magenta and also in prestigious boutiques around the world.

Today Donatella shares her days with a team of people who have assimilated the culture of the atelier and continue the family tradition with experience and passion.
